Hungry eyes watched the feathered thing bleed with a deep satisfaction. If ice and snow could laugh then it was surely what the snow horse did. As it was only silence shook from its sides.

The bird took flight, much to the monster's disappointment. It had no real need for the battle, no true thirst or feeling except an endless rage that seemed to burn impossibly within the core of the cold thing. Whatever intelligence it had was limited and complicated, for it knew enough to suspect that brave Leander would not turn coward. Not with children below to protect and a warrior's attitude in his eyes.

The snow horse had been right in that.

In a flurry of feathers and snow Leander spun around and charged. The icy thing twisted its lips in a cruel smile of sorts as it reared up, fore hooves hoping to strike out at the golden horse as it swooped down into the snow beast.

There was a lovely rainbow for a brief second as crystalline snowflakes soared through the winter air, catching the mild sunshine in a breathtaking display. Death was always like that though; beautiful.

The snow demon had done as Leander suspected, imploded upon impact into a dozen tiny particles no different from the ground now. In the core of the thing was no hard bone or anything rigid, just a burning ball of blue flame.

The orb leapt from the cavity of the thing's remains, whirling with a sound like a winter storm as it chased after Leander. It would spin around the pegasus' full body once, before looping around to Leander's head. It paused for a brief moment, appearing almost playful, though perhaps Leander would know better seeing as it seemed to be the heart and soul of that loathsome thing. It wouldn't matter though, the flaming orb did not need Leander to think of it any certain way, because it would have him regardless.

The orb would make one last sound before sinking into Leander's skull and dispersing into his body.

Congratulations Leander, you have been possessed by an ice demon!
This will affect you for 3 weeks minimum, but you may let the effects play out longer if you desire.

Symptoms:
- You find only nourishment in ice and snow, grass has lost all its flavor and desire.
- You will feel painfully cold to the touch, always, and as such will always be exhaling visibly. Your sense of touch is numbed, so that you cannot feel touch, warmth or even pain very well, however all of the effects to your body are still normal from these.
- Your wings will be frosted on the tips and your eyes have turned pale blue.

- You are able to hold someone in your icy stare and freeze them for 1 post (30 seconds in battle).
- You are able to encase yourself in ice, shielding yourself from 1 attack per use.
- You are able to summon snow storms with a scream.

- You are unable to breed during this period. Consider your sperm frostbitten.
- You have an immediate hatred for any fire users and will madly assault them in your fear and spite.
- You have wild, often violent mood swings, shifting at least every 4 posts.
