They were coming around. Oh, he knew all about the Riftian battles. He didn't need to be affiliated with the Earth God to have heard of the sweeping devastation that the Gods committed against those other worlds, in order to bring them here. It was why he wasn't entirely surprised or offended that he was met with suspicion. He only hoped that his actions thus far had swayed the accumulated consensus about his being here. Then again, he was here for a singular purpose, and with or without their aid, it was necessarily and imperative for him to complete his mission. Though with their help things would surely move faster. Besides, he liked rewarding those who were willing to help him - he had been alone for so long and had no one upon which to bestow his favour. He was finding that he enjoyed it more and more. Standing on the shore of the Endless Blue, not so far away from where he had led a band of Helovian's into the water, he stood gazing outwards. Such a beautiful land.. He thought to himself, and smiled. |
