Within the dusty winds and unseasonably summery breezes, a gathering seemed to have grown out of nowhere. Ampere and Sohalia were among them and, for some reason, Maren thought it might have to do with the Academy. She didn't want to miss out on anything of course, so she strolled over the soft dunes to only notice it was about everything except the art of knowledge sharing and peaceful group discussions.

Sohalia had quietly positioned herself next to Ampere, while Nephele had found herself asking what was going on. Am I sensing a pattern here? She couldn't help but think as she remembered them standing on the crystal beach like this a few days ago as well. Without answering (since she did not dare think to know what in God's Heaven's was going on — but it seemed to excite everyone so let's watch!) Maren had mixed herself among them, too. In her eyes shimmered quiet interest; honest intrigue,  as she had not known Volterra, nevertheless seen him all over the place when he had yet to become part of the family. Now, his muscles were bulging with strength, rolling under his skin, perhaps used to the sensation that came before a fight. She remembered his figure from the False God-fights, so there was that, too. Tae was young, but she was Gaucho's daughter and used to their warm environment. Although the stallion seemed older and more experienced, Maren wouldn't dare underestimate anyone who was — even if it was just by a single strand of hair, related to Gaucho the Wildfire.

By the time the fight started, Maren had already pushed away any possible interesting things Mr.Teatime might be up to.
