nose the strands of her silver tail. She could not hide her approach if she tried, and in truth, she would never want to. There is no cause to sneak around - mostly because she is nothing in these lands; a nobody. Unimportant and non-threatening, if it weren’t for her gilded splendor, she might easily slide along in the shadows of Helovia’s very interesting world. The weight of responsibility is gone, and she finds she misses it, much like a small child would miss their beloved security blanket.

The small pockets of light that are able to get through the heavy boughs and layers of snow glint off her coat as the fine-boned, feathered mare moves through them. As she walks, Yael notices small beacon of light, almost like a firefly (except that is so not the season for fireflies), which gives her reason to pause. Without ever thinking to worry about it, she moves to cross the flying light’s somewhat straight path and eventually comes to realize that it is not indeed a firefly, but a small dragon. With a horse in tow. It is too dim to truly make out the equine that follows, but there is no avoiding each other now.

Ah, but it seems that this strangers glitters too, and so they make quite a shiny trio - the thought of which brings a small smile to Yael’s recently very somber face. As the winged (and horned) wanderer’s features become more distinct, her gaze lingers on the decorations, and she finds herself comparing them to Erthe and Toulouse’s adornments. Yael has a hidden treasure tucked beneath her mane, but aside from her appearance and markings (of which she still has no knowledge, having yet to closely examine herself in placid water), she is plain.

It is fitting for a woman in mourning.

Perhaps more quietly than usual, so as not to break the cathartic silence of the Forest, Yael calls out to the stranger in her accented tongue. "Shalom," followed by a brief pause. "T'at's a lovely cape you xaf." Because it is, and part of Yael wishes that she could have such a cape, to keep her warm outside of the forest.
