Whatever emotion it was which coloured the mare's words, Isopia had no clue. Intoning feeling or emotion from the way others pronounced their words - or even how their faces moved - was not something that Isopia did particularly well. Hubris was far better at it than she was, but most of the time unless asked, he kept his interpretations to himself.

Still, Isopia looked upon this petite mare with really interest ow. Her ears flickered ever so slightly with each of the mares words. The demigoddess could understand her perfectly well, that was no problem. But it was almost as if she wanted to capture every angle of her speech to preserve it forever in her memory. And in a way, that is what she was trying to do.

The places Yael spoke of didn't so much as tickle any memories in Isopia's mind. That fact, combined with her beautiful accent, surely suggested that she was from somewhere much more exotic than the few rival continents littered in close proximity to Helovia.

"It is true that I was born in Helovia." She agreed, though that was not necessarily the reason that she had asked her question. Still, she let this go, and answered the mare's instead. "If by odd, you mean some sort of outlier, then yes. Even those that I have met who are from lands other than these .... they do not speak with an accent nearly as thick nor as foreign. Their lands must be quite close to this one ... but yours seems quite far." Pausing, Isopia considered the mare's words once again and frowned slightly. "Unless of course you meant odd in terms of your appearance in which case-" The demigoddess allowed her eyes to fall over the mare's petite, golden form. There was nothing odd or remarkable about her really. Had she not opened her mouth to speak, Isopia wouldn't have any cause to believe her from far away lands. -no. You look regular to me."
