I'll carry you on my shoulders, never set you down.
Ferry you through the coldness, never let you down.

To anyone on a nighttime patrol, what they witnessed must have been strange. One minute there was utter darkness in a small patch on the border. Not even the faint moonlight managed to penetrate the void. Then a young pale mare appeared on the border. She didn't step through the darkness nor did the darkness dissolve. Instead she simply just appeared with a bored expression and indifferent attitude. Ráeru blinked, although the darkness had not been a odd occurrence for her, indeed to Ráeru...well she herself was the bizarre reoccurrence in her life. Peering into the land of The Edge she pondered calling to those who resided within. The hour late did not matter to the mare, she never thought much about how her decisions may effect those around her. It was not an arrogance, instead she rather just lacked any thoughtfulness.

Tilting her head back she looked upon the moon, wondering if the Lady herself lived up there. Well, the two preferred the darkness, surely the goddess would not mind if Ráeru had a quick inspection of the Edge. "My Lady." She greeted the goddess and then stepped over the border, eyes casting a curious look for any potential herd members. A guide would be greatly appreciated while she toured through The Edge...although she wasn't too fond of herd leaders. Often they were far too busy to properly show her around their homes. So instead she helped herself, walking slowly into the headland waiting for someone to pick up on her presence. When her glass hooves slipped on the snow she paused and rightened, huffing in confusion. After most of her childhood being spent in The Basin she was usually more skilled when it came to managing walking over the slippery snow.

Straighten up she took a few more steps forward, gradually gaining confidence until her leg sank into the snow. The bank had appeared deceptively shallow in the faint moonlight and she'd fallen for it. "Damn it." Wincing she lifted her front left leg and inspected her aching leg. Something hidden under the snow had sliced through her skin, blood was already welling up at the sight of the rather straight incision. Fortunately she doubted the need to pay a visit to the residential healers. Yet of course now she'd leave a fairly obvious trail behind her, with a sigh she glanced around the edge. Someone would undoubtedly find her soon.

Ráeru would like to have a look around the Edge and maybe stay for a while. Open to anyone.
