But the mare before them now was polite and honest, and as she listened to Ráeru introduce herself and explain her reasons for coming to the Edge, Alysanne didn’t get any sort of vibe from the younger mare that would warn her off of inviting her in. She glanced over to the silent Ru, watching the other pegasus’ reaction as well, but the mare seemed relaxed and curious despite her lack of vocalization. Perhaps, Alysanne wondered, she couldn’t speak? She felt curious herself but this was hardly the time to investigate such matters, so when their gazes met she smiled faintly before turning back to the pale girl and responding to her words, attempting to ease her worries. “That’s fine, Ráeru. We don’t ask members to pledge themselves forever to the Edge - if you cause no trouble you are welcome to stay here however long or short you’d like. I know some tricks about healing myself and we have many skilled doctors and nurses here in the Edge who would be willing to share their knowledge with you. Tilney, Lyanna, and Evangeline are the heads of our healing ranks right now.” She paused, hoping this would be welcome news for Ráeru.
Alysanne was always thrilled to find someone interested in the healing ranks and they would always have a special place in her heart. She didn’t intend to completely abandon the practices now that she was queen, after all.
Concern flickered through her green eyes as she continued, addressing the mention of family. There seemed to be far too many family members lost and needing seeking lately! “And we’d happily help you find your family too, if we can. What are their names?” She asked this question not only for her benefit, but for Ru’s as well - hoping that the other mare didn’t mind that she used the terms ‘we’ in reference to them both. With names they would both be able to keep their ears alert for them. Or, if luck was on their side, they might even be familiar to them already!
@Ráeru so sorry for the wait <3
