The stallion was looking even more haggard then usual, his mane dreadlocked and winter coat out in full. Even his wings looked messy, mottled feathers in a disarray. He lumbered along at a steady pace, one foot in front of the next, his muzzle wrinkled as yet another stupid snowflake hit his face. Beneath the fluff he was a bit thin. Nero shook his head against a bluster of wind, his ears tucked firmly against his skull. He was the very picture of distaste.

He wasn't completely sure where he was and frankly didn't really care. It wasn't like it mattered much. As long as he could find a nibble of grass more then what he'd had in his last little haven, he'd be happy. Well- that, and of course it'd have to have as little other horses as possible. Nero didn't really feel like company today. The draft scoffed a little under his breath and moseyed on, dropping his large skull to the ground to munch on a few stalks that poked through the light covering of snow. Winter was a horrible time of year honestly. So was Summer, but Autumn and Spring were okay. Much more mild.

The big stallion didn't think any deeper then that as he wandered into the Threshold. His expression was neutral (for him at least) as he made his way unwittingly deeper into Helovia. He had no idea what would be greeting him, and if he had any clue, he would've turned gracelessly on his hindquarters and left at a much faster pace then he entered. As it was, his ears flicked forwards at the sound of twigs crunching, and his mustard eyes focused on the source of the noise. If he froze and shook a little... Well. Don't tell a soul.
