Kianzo
There was a rift that needed to be repaired between the twins. Not an obvious rift…more like an rib of velvet that was stroked the wrong, thus reflecting light against the grain of the rest of the fabric. It was all apart of the same bolt of cloth, as the two twins were, but there was just something amiss—nearly imperceivable by others.
But the colt felt it—felt his own blame in the matter and knew of Kiada’s transgressions with Ru’in that only worsened the entire situation. Though, despite this, the distance was an acute, open sore in the dark prince’s chest. So he orbited around her, not close but never far, allowing Keusi’s keen sense of smell to keep them in Kiada’s proximity.
So it was at the edges of the clearing that his sharp, blue gaze stared into the tent’s lilac shade. He glanced disapprovingly at the loud, grey filly Kiada chose to stand between—his own gaze following her darting look to their grinning and overly-exciting father (the colt’s lips turned down in disapproval; how undignified their father looked surrounded by all these foals).
Ash clouded at his chest for a moment—a passing whim in his annoyance to throw the hot, immobilizing magic at some unsuspecting foal. Then his eyes narrowed on the pale filly with pearls (she was pretty, his young, male brain acknowledged). But, instead of showering her with ash, he let it fall, marring the white snow at his hooves. Slowly, purposefully, walking forward, he approached her, “Your pearls are lovely,” his deep voice rumbled in answer to her question, a smirk of a smile crossing his dark lips in response to her happy laughter. Though it didn’t meet his sharp blue gaze, it did lighten his inherited, handsomely marked face.
“I am Kianzo,” was his surprisingly deep and gallant introduction, before he awaited to see what this ‘game’ would entail.
