"This way, Hāedar!" Verro called over her shoulder, her footfalls crunched through and over snow and frosted vegetation. She'd seen the unusual Zephyr disappear through the thicket, and while she did not know who it belonged to, she had enough common sense about her that the companion had wanted their attention by the way the starry Roc hadn't left until she'd given chase. It'd only been further punctuated when the King's voice had boomed from the direction the Bird had gone, calling all foals within the Edge to him.
She slowed as she neared the clearing, the vague picture of a tent floated in the back of her mind somewhere. She'd seen it only once or twice as she passed here and there, either in the company of Zubari or on white wings. Her eyes went to each of the gathered younglings, and lingered on her half-brother. "Ma'th gaezo." Nickered to the grullo colt with familial delight, her attention then turned to the King and the Nightwind. "M'ath, Tembovu and Nightwind." Her chords are light despite the peppered touches of roughened notes, a calling card of her Father's line. "Can my Hāedar, Tasokh, join in? She not of Edge, here to visit now I found her." She stepped aside as she spoke, her head turned with a bright grin toward her much smaller sister.
The Sand Princess didn't miss the absence of her friend, Zubari from the gathered foals, but she didn't mention it, as much as she wanted to. She had looked for him of course, after she'd returned with Tasokh at her side. He had been a kind friend to her, and she'd wanted to let him know that she had reunited with his sister, knowing that he'd seen how upset she had been at her disappearance.
