A wolfish smile fell across Tae's ghostly features as she moved to follow Mercutio, a stallion who had also received the title of Sun Physician. He was much large than her, yet Tae's pale white eyes regarded him without fear, as the canine smile on her lips spread. At her heels were two black creatures - a hellhound and a timber wolf - who padded silently and obediently. Their hungry eyes fell across the stallion, but they made no move to advance any farther than Tae. She said nothing as she came to stand by his side, not offering a greeting, her name, or aid to those around her. Instead, she merely watched silently, very much doubting that any in their vicinity actually needed anything. Only she and Aithniel and Volterra had done any fighting recently. |
