Isopia

It didn't take long for Hemlock to find the duo.

It was Hubris who spotted an owl, not entirely different from those that lived within the Falls, but the bronze's astute memory identified the bird for who he really was. At once, a look of surprise and unease creased his reptilian features, and though he trilled a greeting to the bird as he glided towards him, he still appeared hesitant.

>>Her bird here.<< Hubris mentally thought to Isopia, who was grazing below. He supplemented the thought with an image of Alysanne. At once Isopia gave a start. She had healed well enough from her fight with Tembovu, and even though she was larger than Alysanne, she was in no rush to engage in a new fight. Still, this was what leadership required of her. Casting her eyes upwards, she gleaned from Hubris that the bird was here as a messenger, and that they were meant to follow. With haste, Isopia took to the skies, following Hemlock towards where Alysanne was waiting.

Only a few thoughts swirled in Isopia's mind as she prepared for what might happen next. The matter of the bags had been left wholly unresolved, presumably because there had been no clear victor between she and Tembovu. The King had sustained more wounds than she had, but at the end of the day, she was just as exhausted as he. Perhaps ties were awarded to the current owner? Isopia didn't really know.

Landing, her golden eyes fixed on Alysanne, Isopia folded her wings tightly against her flanks, pinning her red cap against her maroon and cream skin.

"Alysanne." Isopia offered, nodding her head slightly in greeting. Her gaze wasn't necessarily warily so much as it was uncertain. Every thing about this was uncertain. Should Isopia be on guard? Be polite? Be curt? Should she offer an apology? Should she demand the bags? Was Alysanne here to talk, or to listen?

What was this?

And, deciding that getting to the point was the best course of action (since her attempts to be polite had previously not gained her much), she did just that. "Why have you come?" Isopia asked, her voice neutral as always without so much as a hint of accusation. Isopia wasn't one to hold grudges, and her inquiry sounded genuinely curious.
