Isopia
Isopia nodded, almost looking relieved as Aly confirmed what Isopia had suspected. It was much easier to bear the thought that Kahlua had been pulled away as soon as she'd returned to Helovia, than the thought of her roaming around somewhere, somehow managing to avoid her daughter at every twist and turn. Still, the uncomfortable question of what Kahlua owed her as her parent, and whether or not Isopia was disappointed that she didn't get to see her mother when she'd last been here, pressed heavily on her mind. The feeling was uncomfortable, and Isopia felt as though she wanted to shake her body and rid herself of the sensation, in the same way she'd shake to rid herself of dust or flies. But she knew it would be no use, and so she forced herself to remain still. "Will you let me know if you do see her?" The demigoddess asked, almost tentatively, not raising her eyes to meet Aly's gaze. Rarely did she ask for help with anything, and this subject - for Isopia at least - felt like it was straying into emotionally complicated waters that Isopia didn't know how to chart. |
