Despite the red's tension in his stance, Sacre wasn't entirely expecting the demanding replies and gruff tones, though perhaps he should have if he had read the situation as it had appeared. As always, the fox-boy was slow on the uptake, his expression contorting into one of confusion, his feet shifting nervously as he hoped to the skies above that this angry unicorn wouldn't decide to rip him to shreds. "Sacre" he hurriedly repeated again, "a healer from the Worlds Edge" he explained more, hoping the stallion would feel happier with something else than just a name. Though his poor heart was soothed by the appearance of another and Sacre looked thankfully towards the other grey unicorn, Cassius, with a friendly nod. At least he wasn't on his own against this irritable old man who looked even more irritatingly familiar.

"Hey" save me from this contentious arse was what he would have preferred to have said, if he had the guts.

However, the red beast still looked to be ill at ease with the sudden intrusion of his private stay by the pool and this time Sacre frowned, an attempt to hide his growing fear that he might get beaten up in a moment, "who are you?" he asked "why are you here?" he countered, feeling like he didn't really have to explain himself anymore. "This is Helovia, our home" he looked hopefully at Cassius, hoping the grey would also chip in, feeling quite vulnerable in comparison to the larger ruby horn in front of him.

"I came over to see if you needed help or a place to stay" or belong, if this hostile stranger would lower his guard for a moment and allow Sacre to get to know him, if only a little. The fox-boy was beginning to think his recent trips to the Threshold had thrown up some mightily fiery meetings (or just plain weird), though it didn't deter him from travelling here, he was beginning to feel a little apprehension now every time he came. Though, as he fell silent, watching his foxes sit and watch the white dog, hoping it would play, Sacre smiled through the tension in hopes his gentle outreach of hospitality would sway the red man.

there's something tragic about you
something so magic about you
