She had hidden away for the next few days after dealing with Tilney and the entire confrontation in the Threshold. She couldn't bear to really face anyone with the guilt eating at her entire being. She had helped Nero out of the Threshold and then left him on his merry way as she went to cry herself to sleep. She hadn't found the will to really care after that. So finding her here in the grove as she wandered aimlessly was honestly surprising, because she didn't want to be anywhere and yet here she stood looking rather pathetic.
Ears drooping, tail hung limp against her thigh as she stared at her reflection in the water quietly, hoping that maybe if she looked long enough the woman on the other end would magically change into something better. One shouldn't have such wishful thinking. Ears flickered to the side of her, hearing sudden splashing that caused her petite cranium to raise and soon find the man she had last seen since the incident. Lashes fluttering, she watched him roll and sway in the chilly waters, wondering if she should dare approach. It wasn't as if he had been too keen with her upon their first meeting, and yet she couldn't help but want to make sure he was settling in well.
Finding her resolve she slowly made her approach, head down and timid as her whole body screamed how uncertain she was in her actions; before she slowly let words fall from her inky lips; hoping that she would not get too much backlash,"Are.... Are you settling in well Sir Nero?"
