Snö did not answer her mother's question regarding what she would want with the slave, Rapha. The younger mare knew exactly what her mother might want with him. If anyone was going to use Rapha it would be her, and if anyone was going to kill him it would most certainly be her. No one else would touch him without her consent or she would bring seven levels of hell down upon them.

She sighed at the knowledge that her father was somewhere in the Steppe and rolled her icy eyes. He was always somewhere not ever there. She had learned shortly after finding him that his duty as a King outweighed his family even though he liked to pretend otherwise.

"Lead the way, mother." The ice princess finally responded. "Come, Rapha." She called with not so much as a glance over her shoulder at the slave.
