"Look at us, studying the fundamentals,
Back when we were young and now we’re up here on another level."

The movement of her footfalls came to a stop and her head tilted to the side as the sound of hooves reached her. Drawing in a deep breath she held it and then released the air, sometimes meeting others took more energy than she had. Today however she felt up to the task, if only just. Socialising had never been a skill of hers but with joining The Edge she was trying harder to make a difference, trying harder to interact with others. Crossing a stream she as she hurried over the other side of the bank, she noted a light hued coat - a pale yellow, with a light pattern decorating the mare's side. Brushing through the trees she stopped before the mare and kept her strange glassy gaze onto the figure of the lighter mare. "You're awfully cheerful." She responded to the mare's whinny. Being happy or full of cheer was not emotions that the pale mare was used to. In fact Ráeru was something of a dark horse, not physically as most did not have a lighter coat that hers, but emotionally. Most the time Ráeru preferred to remain at the back, out of sight and out of mind. Yet this mare was new and most likely in need of the procreation and comfort that a herd land offered and this was something that Ráeru could offer to the yellow hued mare. Additionally new comers sometimes became overwhelmed when entering a new land and became in need of medical attention - a service that Ráeru could provide them.

Clearing her throat she stepped further out from the trees and even managed a small, although admittedly awkward, smile. That's what you were supposed to do right? Smile in order to appear friendly. After another breath the smile slipped from her chops, her strange gaze returned to the surroundings. "I'm Ráeru of The World's Edge." Though she was no longer smiling her voice was friendly enough. "Welcome to Helovia."
