Ru is lost in the physical labors of her work. And becomes still as Isopia begins to speak. A layer of sweat shines across her back and haunches, her breath steady, muscles warm and eager to spring back into action.

She hesitates as she witnesses the earth magic. A memory flashes before her eyes, one that reminds her of the small, momentary battle with the strange Mountain one stormy, cloudy day. Perhaps jealousy threatened to pour itself over her mind, but with the work and labours of their collective, she is subdued. And a moment of awe softens her gaze with childlike fascination, permitting a soft – “Ah.” As if to say something, a question, a query – but the sound, as cracked and mangled as it is, stops before it becomes too noticeable.

About to manually tear the earth a part, as best she could – considering her hooves, the air is sizzling with more, and more magic. It’s hard not to stare at them, between severe frowns and widening eyes. There is no fear however, that strikes at their appearance. But it hardly seems possible, even if their serpentine bodies join the foray of rock and rubble. “AH?” The mare shakes her head, and lets out a charred laugh as she gives them room. A permanent, nearly giddy smile twisted against her lips.

She moves to assist Dragomir, too distracted to see the tears that have shed from his eyes, or the hoarse, heavy nature of his voice cracking. Collecting the mud and the dirt, enjoying their efforts so much that her joy is a beacon that reaches her eyes.

What a world she lived in, how unique and beautiful it was.
