“Do not bicker........”
The voice was a whisper that breathed through the altar, causing the blue-teal markings on its side to pulse gently with the rhythm of the Kaos' veiled mouth.
“........instead be rewarded.....”
Two flowers (which appeared to be lilies dusted in black ash) suddenly sprang from the earth at the hooves of Kiada and Beloved. Despite the black petals, each flower seemed to glimmer somewhat, before bending over to deposit a necklace at the respected hooves of both unicorns.
“This is a gift......given only to those clever enough to not be fooled by the paltry promises and the lies perpetrated by those tricked by the four reigning Gods of this land. Things will soon change.....If you would like to stand by me, I can open doors that you didn't even know existed. I can give you power beyond measure. I will never again lie to you, but will always be honest. These necklaces mark you as those strong enough to think for themselves ........ they will also allow me to contact you........"
The symbols grow faint as Kaos' voice fades away.
