An earthquake of a laugh shook the land around the Steppe at Isopia’s response to the mountain horse’s comment about her height. It had heard whispers in the trees that grew along its sides that the Earth’s daughter was almost ridiculously logical, and perhaps she hadn't meant it was a joke but the mountain enjoyed her comment all the same.

“Straight to the point then.” The mountain grumbled, pulling its gigantic head back a little bit as disappointment coloured its rumbling voice. She seemed so eager to get through this little meeting! “You know, this is the first conversation I’ve had in… well, in a very long time.” Its voice faded with this sentence, large eyes blinking in a fashion so slow that a full minute passed. Indeed, the mountain had almost fallen asleep again but it caught itself - shaking it’s rocky head and causing some boulders to loosen and cascade to the ground with a thundering clash.

Its eyes flashed open again and it peered closer again. “Yes, I require something from you - a sacrifice of sorts.” So giant was the green eye that it didn’t need to move or flicker to take in Isopia fully as it regarded her before explaining, briefly, what that sacrifice was. “One of your magics.”
