so i listen to the wind for an answer
She isn’t sure what brings her here. Responsibility, maybe. Stripped of her healing magic now, she’s beginnig to wonder what she can do when Kaos strikes again. She will fight, but all the training in the world won’t make her strong or large or formidable on the battlefield. She had been far better equipped to be a field nurse, to do her best to keep the members of the Edge alive and well when the going got tough.
But of course, she’d already failed that anyway. She hadn’t gone to Nyx when she fell, thinking at the time that she didn’t need to. Multiple other healers had been there, and it seemed like enough. So instead Lyanna had stood beside Tembovu, ready to help others that should need it. But Nyx was the one who needed it.
Maybe it's guilt that drives her back here now. Maybe she’s hoping to find something that might help stem the tide of potential deaths. She’s not really sure what she expects to find, but still, she’s here. And apparently, she’s not alone in her search. Two familiar forms stand at the obelisk already, and Lyanna is just in time to hear Yael speak a word she doesn’t understand, and Isopia ask what it means. Lyanna, for a brief moment, can only smile as she comes to join the other two women. “Can you read all of the symbols?” she asks. Of course it would be the little golden foreigner to help them all.
