Kaos' voice, swollen with power yet sounding so rich and deep, like the voice an ancient cello might have, suddenly sung into the air. The symbols on the altar pulsed warmly, its teal light spilling onto the ground.
"There are few who speak the ancient tongue, Yael." Kaos said, and although there was no body accompanying the voice, clearly Kaos' attention was turned to the golden pegasus. "But then again, I should have expected as much from one as old and from a land as far away as you."
The other assembled - Amaris, Isopia, Lyanna - in turn could feel Kaos' gaze shifting and falling upon them, as if scrutinizing them, but saying nothing.
