I might be little, but I am a curious one. Daddy has a hard time keeping me in the Edge, and today takes me on a field trip. A field trip that ends up somewhere really cool! By the time we arrive, dusk is falling. Daddy tells me we are going to stay here overnight and return home in the morning. We settle in, and I snuggle in close to him and the creature he calls Alanna.

Sleep does not come right away, and I am thankful for this. For once the sun goes down it seems the real fun begins. One light appears, and I slip away from my Daddy to go find out more about it. What I find when I get there is nothing like I have ever seen.

One strange thing seemed to hover above the water with a ramp leading down to the ground. My green eyes take everything in. It was a bit fuzzy, but for the most part I can see just as well as I can by the daylight. But it's what is at the bottom that I find most interesting. Four little creatures stood seeming to take everything in like I am. I squeak in excitement, as I don't know a bunch of words just yet.
