Alysanne still wasn’t really sure how to address Isopia - she didn’t feel completely comfortable using the girl’s name, and The Mountain That Knows isn’t exactly short and punchy enough to shout across a distance without it sounding like a challenge.
And they had certainly had enough challenges on these borders.
So she didn’t call out to the daughter of Kahlua and the Earth, the once-Czarina, once-Seer, once-child - not with words, at least, but a joyful call did escape her when she spotted Isopia and the two young forms with her. Her legs moved quickly beneath her, finding grace in movement on the ground when she never could seem to find it in the sky.
“Hello!” She called out again, finding proper words this time, the smile quick to grow in her summer-green eyes as she came to stand before the family. Alysanne wondered if the warm joy she felt upon seeing Isopia’s children was similar to what it would be like to see her own grandchildren. She had no right to feel maternal for Isopia - the girl had barely even needed her own mother since day one - but there was undeniably a soft spot for the demigod in Alysanne’s heart. Whether Isopia liked it or not. “It’s wonderful to see you again so soon. I hope everything is alright?” Whatever reason brought Isopia and her beautiful children to the Edge, Alysanne wasn’t going to complain, but that didn’t mean she was going to forget to make sure they were okay first.
She had been planning a trip south to the Throat once Zoeya was old enough for the journey - but she couldn’t have much different in age than the pair before her so maybe she had no reason to delay.
Her attention then turned to the foals. “I’m Alysanne, but you can call me Aly if you’d like.”
