She didn't know what to do.

Her purpose, her life, her everything, had just settled into a comfortable rhythm.

The dragonmare had just been offered a rank within the herd she loved. She had slowly gotten to know those around her, made friendships that she hoped would last a lifetime.

Now she wasn't even sure how much of a lifetime they all had left.

The world was ending, and yet, everything stood still.

The world was ending, and yet, here they were.

We need to leave, she thought to her bondmate, and his reply was nothing more than a silent agreement, a declaration that wherever she wandered, he too would follow.

But where? Where would they go? How could they possibly leave these lands, lands which had birthed her, lands where her mother's ashes fell, lands where she had bonded with Dramyrth?

They may not have a choice soon, if they lingered long enough.

They may be forced to choose between living (elsewhere) or dying here.

Did they want to die?

Amaris couldn't say, right now.

They were lost, two figures standing as one in the midst of the so-called Heavenly Fields, watching the stillness of the world shift around them.

Open for any, however would prefer this to be a pretty fast-moving thread if possible.

No need to mirror my post length - I have a horrible case of the rambly writer syndrome!
I like being tagged!
You are always welcome to 'try' and use force/magic on Amaris, but similar to spar posts, leave it to me to decide how the damage is taken please~
