Bacchus was normally following his precious Snö, but today the little boy had felt compelled to the Frozen Arch, after some debate on whether it would be safe for him to go, and if he wasn't overstepping the boundaries Snö had set down for him. Well, and Snö had allowed him to be used in the Plague. Even if he was a babysitter, a doormat, or a testing system for torture. But of course, the ice princess was also making sure none of the other unicorns took him as their slave, but the boy decided to overlook that and pretend the princess just loved him. Poor Bacchus. Poor, poor Bacchus, whose pathetically depressed mind was in love with a racist unicorn who literally owned him and found him utterly repulsive.
The slave, the small fjord cross, approached the Frozen Arch with great care, as if the very snow might bite him. He was a fluffy thing, but the cold was still cold on the tips of his sooty ears and nipped at his muzzle. If Snö lived here, he lived here, no matter how cold the nights got. After all, little foals survive here! Bacchus thought proudly to himself, taking comfort from these sad thoughts.
His delicate hooves clattered on icy stone, announcing his arrival to the black mistress Psyche, unless she had gone deaf. Upon seeing Snö's mother, the slave lowered his head submissively, slipping into the shadows along the edges of the cavern, hoping to avoid notice by the other unicorns sure to arrive soon. Not a word came from his mouth- a servant may say 'Lady Psyche', but a slave did not speak unless spoken to, and he was not about to break that rule for fear of losing his tongue to a glittering horn. He wasn't looking forward to being announced to the whole of the herd, becoming a herd slave once again, even if he was technically tied to the gorgeous Snö. I can deal with anything except foals. The fjord told himself, swishing this thick tail.
