The land was quiet accept for the sounds of the gathering plague, few had shown their faces so far but Descaro was quite happy to see familiar forms of d'Artagnan and Kou, the growing Sno complete with her metal wolf and of course, Psyche. The equine he did not recognize but had heard about there being a hornless slave roaming the land. Descaro did not mind, as long as he was kept under tight watch and given tasks so he was not idle, in fact the dark bay thought it quite useful. The other was a rather tall mare of broad build and a silver black pelt with intriguing white markings, her tone was entertaining and after that he paid little or no heed. Instead he watched the meeting with growing interest to who would actually come and who was prepared to go and reclaim what was rightfully theirs. The steed stood on d'Artagnan's spare side with a nod of greeting to the new family. Pools then turned back to the meeting to watch it unfold. |
