An unnatural mist settles over the lover's grove, causing an eerie fog to roll over the murky waters of the once crystal lake. The fog weighs heavily between the trees, obscuring your sight save for a meter in front of your hooves. No passionate sighs or murmurs of 'I love you' could be heard on this day, only the unsettling silence of darkness.
In the distance, a pulsing, black and purple light cuts through the fog, calling you like a siren to the depths. As you grow closer, a strong wind pushes the fog away and billows against your ears like a thousand whispers, pulling at your hair and pushing at your body with extreme force.
The pulsing, black orb shifts with dark energy just above the surface of the black waters that roll with murk reminiscent of the spectral marsh. What darkness lay beneath the lovely pool of lovers on this day?
You try to step forward, but the wind pushes against you, sliding your hooves backward as they try to gain purchase on the frost floor. The magic in the distance is calling to you, waiting for you to come snatch it away, but how will you reach it? The force of the wind is unrelenting, and the water is questionable in its safety.
