The girl almost dances as she moves closer, skimming over the earth like a bird. He had met a few pegasi since coming to Helovia, but none who possessed such grace. Still, he notices the slight wince that crosses her face, and self-consciously wonders what he must look like to her. Scarred, maimed, the mockery of unicorn rather than one of the proud creatures.

When she attempts to appear taller, he resists the urge to roll his eyes. The buckskin is about six inches shorter anyway, why on earth would she want to increase her height even more? Still, when she speaks there is no arrogance or malice in her tone, just curiosity. She introduces herself as Pluto, and he mulls the name over in his mind. It is unusual, foreign, and he idly wonders where she came from. His thoughts are interrupted by the inevitable questions. His name is easy enough, for the stallion has had quite a bit of practice in answering that. He paws the ground until he has cleared a small space, then traces a feline shape in the dirt, making certain to give it the characteristics that makes lynxes separate from other species. When finished, he takes a step back and motions toward the rough sketch with his head, inviting the fae to take a look.
