From the deepest desires often come the deadliest hate.

The Tormentor lay upon a rock, looking down on her prisoners. She basked in the sun, relaxed, knowing that the filth that she was babysitting were much to weak to attempt an escape. Though her beloved Psyche had ordered that the prisoners were not to be killed at this point, she would not hesitate to spill their blood if they became too rowdy. And in such a frail state, something as simple as a shove could kill the creatures below her. She sighed, closing her vivid amber eyes, her ears flitting to angle themselves at the soft noises that emerged with the bud of birdsong.

Tipping her head to the sky, she took in a deep breath. This home had rejuvenated her. She was once again at her peak, a striking tigress protecting her land, and the slaves that were captured within it. She opened her eyes, a small smile growing on her face. But in an instant, that was finished. Something white cut through the air. It took a moment to recognize the form, and soon Stellaluna realized it was a dragon. Her heart fluttered, at first thinking that perhaps it was a free creature, and she could bond with it. But then she snapped to - All of the lazy moments in the sun had fried her brain. This dragon must belong to another creature.

The rusty unicorn mare stood, and dragged her horns upon the stone she stood upon, sharpening them just a bit. Her head then raised, tail tuft and mane streaming behind her like banners on the wind. She waited, guarding her prisoners, prepared and waiting for the inevitable.
