Burning. Everything was burning.
Turmoil. Everything was turmoil.

The Doctor stood stunned for a moment, not foolish enough to charge straight at a god and not strong enough to stop his idiotic rage. Everything seemed to happen in slow motion, the trees charred and unicorns fell. Cries of rage as if he was stood in the middle of a great war. But, how could that be? He was one and they were many. How can someone wield so much power, enough to destroy the woody cliffs of the Edge. And where was his goddess, the one who had blessed him with the power to heal? Time was slowing. The seer, Hellena, was flung hard into a tree by the venomous will of the God. He could vaguely hear his King cry out her name, it was like someone had stuffed his ears and he was watching through a window. He watched as a shadowy mare seemed to have appeared in all the madness, complete with a trio of family members. Twins and another femme, similar in appearance. d'Artagnan didn't really notice, they were not of his herd and not of his concern. He laid his ears back at the comments made by Rishima, her ice cold attitude doesn't do much to help the situation either. Mares. His thoughts retorted but now was not the time to be picking petty fights. Mismatched eyes watched another two fall, Seiren his sister and Korra the new warrior in the ranks.

"d'Art, Kou,"

His spoken name snapped the red stallion into action. His King had orders and it was his duty to carry them out. At first he didn't want to leave Mauja undefended, but Aurelius was there. Small in size but d'Artagnan trusted his King's decision to include the little pony. He seemed braver than he looked. The Doctor had other matters to tend to. It was now he could be useful. Kou... Wait?! Where the blast has she gone?! For a moment d'Art thought he had lost his ever faithful nurse, he broke into a short collected canter with eyes and nose scouting out the cremello arabian. A flash of gleaming white and a petite body sent the Doctor's heart rate tumbling down a morsel. She had been close to Seiren but not faced the brunt of his force like his unfortunate sister had. "Kou! We have a job to do. With me, quickly" his gaze had lingered long enough to check she was not seriously injured. Burn marks scorched his own blood coloured fur, but it was of no moment and would heal in time. He set his hooves into the ground and spun back in the other direction, his first incentive was to heal the seer, Hellena. However when he looked over again she had gone, fled into the forest in a fit of rage or misery. d'Artagnan cursed profusely under his breath, she would kill herself should she push too far. He had hoped she would of calmed under her injuries, at least long enough for him to get to her. d'Art shifted his medical gaze again and this time rested it on Korra. The warrior had also been knocked down but the flames seemed to get to her quicker. A worried frown creased across his face as he bolted in that direction, indicating for Kou to follow him.

A gift from his goddess, rain, seemed to harness the fire and flitter it away to nothing. It left the crumpled body of Korra now lying, soaking, on the charred floor. Unconscious. "Of all the idiotic things, that was the worst I have ever seen. Ever." He huffed away as his mind took in her injuries and burn marks, she had managed to tangle herself in a set of vines too. Gathering his healing will he directed it towards her exhausted body, "Kou, carefully remove the vines from her." He was glad for her presence, the stallion allowed her some room if she wished to observe.

Darkness unfurled around the severely burned wounds. Its winds of the moon covering every inch of Korra's body. d'Artagnan's face contorted into pure concentration as he healed. In more harshly injured places his mind followed the curves in her muscles, bones and nerves; soothing and cooling. Burns were the worst kind for attracting infection, the Doctor purged this from poisoning her blood which in turn stopped the discharge that came from her body. He fixed the minors next, healing tissue and turning the burnt patches into scars. The warrior would have a fair few scars, they tended to stick around for a while. Especially in the more severe places. d'Artagnan tried his best to reduce the scarring as much as possible by healing as fast as possible. He replaced the energy she had lost with his own, speeding up the body's natural healing process. Finally, he did a once over. Checking this time for broken or sprained bones in her fall, fixing what he must and removing debris left in her body. He sighed and the winds began to dissipate, immensely tired from the exertion. d'Artagnan watched Korra, hoping for her to come round and that he had not been to late. That she had not given up on him. That she had survived.
