You left me here like a chalk outline

On the sidewalk waiting for the rain to wash away



He wandered silently. Since joining the Edge, he has yet to patrol, to learn the land in which he has promised to protect. So that is what he does tonight. He moved silently, his ears swiveling, mind rewinding memories to play again. Lately, his favorite is when he met the grulla stud and his ivory dragon companion. Lace was kind to the demon-looking unicorn. He brought to Maldecir's attention the unspeakable acts in which his species had performed. Shaking his head, he felt his blood start to boil when he thought of what the unicorns had fallen to.

A snap of a twig caught his attention. The pale horse lifted his head and started to trot towards the sound. His black eyes searched the darkened forest until they caught the movement of a draft-built mare. Nickering to catch her attention, he stopped to let her notice him. His blood markings might spook her.

She was acting funny. He tilted his head and furrowed his brow, trying to figure out why she was acting like that, like she was...high. "Uh, hello? Are you ok?"
