You left me here like a chalk outline

On the sidewalk waiting for the rain to wash away



He tilted his head. The mare seemed infatuated with something on her back end. Shifting his weight so he can peer around her head, he didn't see anything on her. His voice seemed to reach her and she shot him a look. He couldn't really put a word to it. Kind of a cross between mad, confused and amused. Her voice held an edge of annoyance as she answered his question.

"Well, my name is Maldecir." His thick, spanish accent flowed smoother as he pronounced his name. His english was scattered, but when he spoke in his native tongue, his deep, quiet voice was almost romantic. White fungi? Where on earth did the draft mare find glowing mushrooms? An amused smile tried to play on his lips, but he did his best to hide it. Hallucinations are not funny, but he knew that the Edge's inhabitants are normally nice. The mare's reaction to the plant seemed to play with her mind.

Unless the mare isn't from the Edge. A serious look crossed his features. His protector stance kicked in and he straightened to his full height of 16 some hands. "Are your from the Edge?" He kept his voice leval and respectful. No need to cause a confrontation.
