Whispers of the dead and murky waters did not instill any fear in the shadowy mate that passed over the paths she knew to be safe. Footfalls silent, moving like a wraith through the twisted murky land. It was something Lakota regretted, the black shadow born from their parents while Hana and Alleo had been blessed by the lighter side of the genes. She really was the plague of the family. Wry grin stretched aesthetically pleasing face, showing the bitterness and uncarin nature of the girl within. This was a new place to her, and she already found she enjoyed the darkness of the Deep Forwst much better. Where the shadows hid her body and the little sunlight bounced of her snowy back to make her seem invisible. She was a part of the Grey, of course she felt better sneaking around and striking from a position she chose herself. Lakota hated to play by other peoples rules, with the exception of Ktulu and her patron.

After all the Moon Goddess had gifted her with the ability to draw upon her does a fog of poison. Lakota couldn't be more pleased after the poison d'Artagnan infused her with wore off. Now she had completed every poisoner's dream. She could finally give something to the Grey other than her fighting abilities.

One ebony hoof slipped and landed in he murky water. Violet eyes narrowed as she yanked it back out again, shaking it in disgust. "Fucking disgusting." Yes, the forest was better by a longship. The fact Lakota could call it home was a huge step. She'd always traveled through outcast bands, staying for a season before disappearing into the swaths of black shadow in the middle of the night. Never lost but never found. Stuck in limbo until Ktulu and Rafe found her. Lakota was fine with her life, not bothered by the fact she was an assassin in mild terms. Working for those who could pay, a mercenary. Alliances, feelings, bonds; those meant nothing to her. The only ones who were locked within her heart were Alleo and Hana, and Ktulu had taken the sole place of respected leader. A spot that had remained vacant for quite some time. Lakota often found herself keeping tabs on Ktulu. Always there to be a back up even if the fierce woman didn't need her help. It itched Lakota to know someone had made her respect them, be loyal to them. But it was also a strangely good feeling to know she would appear by Ktulu's side in a moment if she needed her. That was Lakota's strength. Silent protection and watchful eyes.

Snorting rudely she slapped her tail against her hocks and moved on, angling somewhat north west to exit this disgusting bog within a handful of minutes. Her dark coat did nothing to hide her, and Lakota despised having no advantage even if she wasn't paranoid.
