Phae listened, her sooty expression seeming sweet and tentative to the stallion's problems. She smiled softly as Valentine seemingly tried to reassure her. It was endearing how many stallion's believed that she needed to be protected or reassured. Some, like Valentine and Apollo, seemed to do so genuinely. Others...Others, like Tio and Levi seemed to have an agenda. Nevertheless, Phae adored the attention that they draped upon her. She backed up a few steps to give the gray stallion space, now that he was finally on his feet again. With an approval smile, she nudged his shoulder with her soft pink snout.
Hearing that he left the Basin, she nodded approvingly. Unlike his brooding conversation with Myrddin, Phae found it refreshing that Valentine was simply moving on, rather than sulking about. Of course she had no idea that he had done a bit of sulking, but that was fine. Moving in closer once again, she poured an overly flirtatious gaze over the stallion. Phaedra, of course, enjoyed flirting - but even more than that, she enjoyed making others feel physically good about themselves. And who would enjoy that sort of attention more, than a stallion with a broken heart? She sensed that Val was not reading too much into her actions, taking her for what she was, which made it all the easier for her. Extending a delicate wing-tip, Phae gently traced the heart on Val's hip with a tawny feather. "Well sugar, now that you're out of the Basin, if you or your new herd ever find yourself in a pickle, you just waltz into the Deep Woods and come and find The Grey. " She murmured softly, cashing in on the opportunity to let the stallion know a little about her herd. "And if you ever need anything, well you just come on' in and I'll come to you."
