And suddenly the rest appeared, almost out of thin air. How had this happened so? It had been so long, he had known that, but at the same time it almost didn’t feel right. Had he really been gone that long? He felt so lost, and even when Archibald scorned him, he didn’t fully feel the sting. It was something that he simply wasn’t used to, and it hurt that he wasn’t. He moved from Kipp, if only for a movement to come greet his other two brothers. He went to Archibald’s side, nuzzling him even if he was in a rage, and nodding to Loretta. The words “Brother” were whispered, but nothing else. The same was done to Knox and Manhattan. He circled back, coming and standing behind Kipp now, with his head leaning across his back. He felt Kipp’s form beneath him, and it helped steady his breathing. Kipp heard Casimir breathing heavy, and touched his face to his brother’s, calming him. They exchanged a look, one that was just between them, and they went back to the conversation at hand. What Knox said shook the draft, and his blue eyes fluttered open, giving him a wide-eyed expression of fear. Mandrake? What was he talking about doing with Mother? He puzzled yet scared stallion continued to hide behind his younger sibling, saying nothing. Just the mention of his Mother’s name was enough to make him slightly shake. Kipp calmed him once more, but his eyes held a worrying gaze to Casimir’s own. This was something important that they were discussing, but what was the point of it?
