A muted silence settles over the scene, and for a moment or two all sounds of the forest cease. The shadows grow larger and darker beneath the two grand figures of Daltoff and Mauja, and then spread to cover the entire forest floor in a consuming coat of black. Time pauses as a dark raven lands upon a branch of the canopy above them, and for a minute the entire forest is enveloped in quiet.
The raven crows loudly, calling the rest of his murder to his side, and with beady, glowing eyes they watch the pair from above. The trees grow black with their feathered forms and the little light that came through the trees is blocked by their bodies. The forest remains darker than ever before, and the strange stillness that brought a deathly silence to the forest persists. The only sounds are that of the ravens and the Unicorns below.
