Oras nodded his head, numb to almost all feelings, though he listened to Aryel. She was nice, and definitely restoring his feelings about the winged horses. His mother had been winged, she had abandoned him, but no matter. Aryel was like his new mother now.

The black colt stuck to Aryel's side, encased in her scent. He didn't recognize the smell of the land that hung over her, but he didn't think much of it. It was probably the land of the herd she had spoken of...the 'Throat.'

'It'll be your home soon,' Oras thought to himself, starting to smile. He'd have a home...
