Lakota

It is time, and Ktulu has arrived. Eytan was first to arrive, bursting with energy in the way he always has. He dashes between Lakota and Phaedra, a ball of energy that never fails to amuse her. He settled beside her and she made a soft sound towards him, greeting him. Following directly behind him is his darkly canvased bonded, and she speaks Lakota’s name in greeting, followed by Phaedra’s. Lakota dipped her head respectfully to her, eyes on her form. Crown then turns in a sway towards Murdock, so that Ktulu may speak with him. He has passed Lakota’s examination, but Ktulu is always the final verdict and Lakota won’t overstep boundaries. She also won’t plead his case, because it’s not hers to plead. He is not a colt to be led by a tail, and he will prove himself through his own actions to Ktulu, not through Lakota’s words. Lucky for him he has manners, and utilizes them when her Queen speaks to him.

It is then that Phaedra moves, briefly speaking to Ktulu. It is hardly considered talking, as she only utters her name. Lakota does not understand the relationship between the two, and isn’t inclined to break their privacy by diving into it. However she does know Phaedra is uncomfortable around the mercenary leader, and is not surprised to see her begin to leave the scene. Her gaze passed over the roan mare, and Lakota returned it. Low, soft voice touched her ears. Lakota flicked an ear and briefly dipped her head. If she wished to speak, Lakota would do so with her. Violet irises kept strict watch on her Grey-sister as she left, waiting until she was safely out of sight before moving back to the pair conversing. She is not needed but she remains, a silent guard. Until she is dismissed, she will remain a statue near her mistress.
