No problem <3
Also I’m really sorry ;____; I was using the Explore Board type of land to give myself a bit of wiggle room so that was my mistake. This can be in the Heart if that helps then <3 would you like me to edit the summary at the bottom of my previous post to include that?

Like a serpent he appears, slithering across the rocky terrain like a shadow. Words ricochet within Kaj’s listeners long before he is seen, praise that he is not used to receiving making him vaguely uncomfortable beneath his stony exterior. His mind is stuck in a mode he falls far too easily into, and though this is a spar that his mistress has set up, the compliment makes him feel uneasy and on edge. Even so he retains enough sense about him to give a curt nod. This is the man he must go against, and he has to prove himself. Even if he failed and his brethren advanced, so long as he pushed his soul into every blow he would have done all he could. Shards of sky linger heavily upon the frame of the other stallion, sizing him up for the fight to be. This is why he does not attack. One does not run headlong into a fight when opponent first makes face, for there are certain areas that are to be more vulnerable with every horse. He is older, and that only makes Kaj move his hooves to keep up circulation. Maskan was far more experienced, wiser with battle. However age may go in his favor, for Kaj had more energy in his prime. Surprisingly he is fiercely pleased to note that they are of equal mass, for that means he cannot simply slam the stallion to the ground for a win. Doing so was always terribly boring, disappointing. No, he could go rounds with this brute and be equaled out in weight alone. Even stranger, they are of equal height. It’s almost disconcerting how similar they are, for they will have the same advantages. Laughing pumpkin orbs stared back at him, clashing gazes. Kaj remains still and evaluates, for he is given the time to. In a normal fight, one for blood and honor, or for territory, this would not be granted to him. It would have been done in the charge towards battle, with little time to do it at all. Perhaps he seems weak; a fledgling in the older stag’s eyes, but wit can overcome brawn in a fight.

He is circled like a vulture, and muscles tense in preparation, grim face staring down the grinning one directed at him. After a few moments long legs extend and the darkly inked man is moving at a swifter pace. His own grin slowly slipped onto his face. A smirk. Oh yes, he knows what he will do next. Attacking Maskan while he is moving is not something he wants to do, for there is too much motion and momentum that Kaj does not have. Maskan however does not stop, and Kaj knows that he will not be led along and given every advantage. He can deal with that. Golden boy? The irony is rather striking. He chuckles internally, the fire building in his veins at the challenge Maskan is presenting to him. This is what he lives for, and his heart is racing faster even than the blood that pounds in his ears. He is almost dizzy with need to strike the first blow, to sing the words he has written into every bone through memory and experience. Eyes watch as Maskan circles. Tensing subtly, glad that he had prepared his muscles beforehand so that it is hopefully not as noticeable when he is ready. He debates his options, matching his own mass against Maskan. Rearing is out of the question, for it is definitely harder for a brute of his size to rise up like that. However he has an appendage Maskan does not- his wings. The circling does not stop, and so in a burst of energy and spray of sand Kaj lunged to his right towards Maskan. There is a moment where he fits in a single stride, for Maskan is at a decent length. Strong hindquarters drove him forward from his stride, forelegs lifting at a decent height. Powerful pillars drove down with purpose towards the brute’s left foreleg, intending to scrape and bruise it. Legs were vulnerable, especially forelegs. But he is not done, and as he does this his right wing rose towards Maskan’s face, slamming down towards his eyes to hopefully block his view and leave his legs open territory. It is a strange angle for his wing, to move it forward and then back so that the long hard flight feathers are the ones presented to the other stallion. There is little defense, for they are in close quarters by that point, and Kaj could not manage a bite with his wing in the way as it was. In his head, he mocks his previous words.

Your move now, isn’t it?
