Every time she rested, if she closed her eyes for a moment, she was always afraid to see Viserys standing before her. His grin seemed so vivid, she wanted to tear it from his face; but he was never there. The soft ground of the meadow, combined with the gentle whisper of the stream, had been enough to leave her senses unaware for a moment, causing her to startle when somebody suddenly was there as she opened her eyes. Thankfully, it wasn’t Viserys, though this one didn’t seem a whole lot friendlier. His indifference toward her was remarkable; it was obvious that he did not plan to seek out her company. But that’s too bad, because Dany was feeling chatty. And he couldn’t quite keep his eyes from her as she ascended from the watery depths that much she noticed. Something about her caused his eyes to move away in disinterest, and it wasn’t difficult to guess just what it was. Sure it would be enough to quench any stallion’s desire, seeing a mare as pregnant as she was, but it wasn’t his desire she was after anyway, so it could play out to her advantage.
Despite her delicate looks, partly due to her youth, Daenerys was an enduring creature; bred of desert heritage, she could run for miles and survive under the most unthinkable circumstances. The prominent inbreeding of her line had sometimes proven itself in madness or sickness with some individuals, but Daenerys was as sound as any young femme. The circumstances she was currently in was not something she had asked for, but she learned to adjust and was readying herself for a whole different life. Maybe in the future, when her foal was strong enough to stand on his own, she would find someone that she could love. Someone that she might even have a child with; but those plans were too far out in the future for her to consider at this moment. Of course she couldn’t possibly compensate for her lack of horn, in Cineviam’s eyes at least. Dany regarded all species as equals.
The stallion pulled back into his unwelcoming shell, he moved away from her and she moved up on the bank. Her white tresses clung to her nape from wetness, her thistle eyes still moving with the stallion. He didn’t answer her right away, but she was suddenly determined; blame it on the hormones. Then his red eyes turned to her, and she looked back with confidence, a small smile playing on her velvet kissers. Those words weren’t especially kind, but she did not remark it and there was no reaction to his menace from the snowy fae. "I do not have a herd, stag. I am under the protection of the Moon and her children," she voiced, melodically and kind. There was no mention of the Qian, not by name, for she knew not the affiliation of this stranger. Daenerys may seem outwardly naïve, but she was not at all stupid. Flicking her tail, water was drizzled over her flank once more, the colt in her womb stirring once more. He was going to be a lively one, she was certain, hopefully strong as well. "Where do you come from? Where do you reside?" She asked, not considering such information to be too much within the smalltalk category. It could prove useful later on, if anything should happen to her in his presence.
