I saw the young filly eyeing me as if I grown a third eye. Surely she has heard stories of unicorns, the shy faes that lived hidden in the deep forests. The deep forests. Endless trees and shelters. I was glad I didn't go to the beach. It would've been a torture for me even though I really did want to see the endless blue for the first time. The little fae started giggling after what I told her. "I can tell that you're not alone", I said adoring the trees that encircled us. I pointed my horn torwards the tree. "The woods is our home", I said. "We are never alone", I said smiling, agreeing with the filly's point. The trees that encircle and protect us. I felt protective of this giggly filly. I smiled at her, ensuring that I was nice despite my strange appearance of my horn. I suddenly heard something and a large male pegasus approached. His little daughter, I assumed came out beside him towards the little filly. She gave off a little whicker, and I heard the giant brute talk to her, telling her to come off with him.
I knew if the little filly went off with him, she would be much safer. "I think you should let the filly decide", I told the male. I wasn't angered, yet I said it in a calmed, peaceful tone. I heard what she slightly whispered. "You can choose", I said in a calmed voice. I stared at the other male. He did offer much more protection to her, and I was thinking about joining the edge also. Forest and sea. "Sir, by any chance would the edge be interested in taking in another member?" I asked the male. I knew from talk that the edge had forest.
