Ophelia watched ARGETLAM fall, and a twisted smirk crossed her lips for the briefest of moments. She was unaware of what effects Tinek’s blast had on his massive form as she was already scanning, preparing herself for a new challenge. A satisfaction and pride filled her heart as her initial tactic was working – isolate and knock them out one by one. The alabaster hybrid spied her sister in the distance along with Birch, who she had previously assumed dead in the snow when he told her to fuck off so long ago. She was pleased to see that he was up, alive, active and fighting on their side. Murdock was also not difficult to miss with his stunningly emerald accents, and their two enemies were a very hairy stallion and short equine. Well, comparatively short, of course. Ophelia was rather tall and long legged with a spiraled, pearly horn, and her build was a union of lithe warmblood with a Spanish musculature though those corded fibers ran slender and lithely along her bones.

The strange equine stood a hand shorter but was of the same base coat coloration. However, this equine had dark tresses and a strange spotting pattern that reminded her of Mauja. A strange shadow cast on the ground with feathers instead of leathery, solid wings, and she looked up, squinting in the brightness of the sun. Irma? Ophelia furrowed her brows and turned her gaze to see Mauja walking along the borders of their battlefield, and she wondered why he was here. Since they had met each other in their dreams and her memories had been restored, she had not shared words with the Frost Heart.

Focus.

Other than coloration and her equine species, the strange mare was entirely unknown to her; no other distinguishing features could be identified, so Ophelia moved in tentatively closer, entirely uninjured at this point as ARGETLAM had fainted before she could receive damage. What she did not expect then was the vehemence in which this stranger came after her, and the mare’s ears tilted to the side in slight irritation. What had Ophelia ever done to her to deserve such wrath? A battle yes, but in Ophelia’s mind, this mare was practically frothing at the mouth with madness, and they had never even seen each other before! A bloody hip flashed as the mare charged her direction, and Phi’s toes splayed on the ground, muscles quivering and tense for immediate action. From their distance, ARIADNE would be able to predict her direction and alter her course, but if Ophelia timed everything just right, then the mare should not be able abandon the attack – at least not gracefully, right? She prepared her body to leap to the left as the mare continued to come at her, head on.

When ARIADNE slid to a stop in front of her, the next action was not difficult to see. Her weight was already on her hindquarters, front end rising, so Ophelia had plenty of time to react lest her skull get pummeled by solid, equine hooves. How was the mare balancing on that injured, bloody hip? So many questions with too little answers and much too little time. She was already balanced to leap to the side, so she did so without hesitation, hind legs propelling her slightly forward and to the left. ARIADNE’s hooves were avoided except for a scuff along her right shoulder blade, and Ophelia reached her arched neck around quickly and snapped at ARIADNE’s shoulder blade with her teeth as the mare was presumably still in the air (if she landed quickly enough, perhaps the bite would have a chance of landing on her crest), balancing. From leap to bite, Ophelia moved quickly, never lingering very long or waiting to see if an attack would land.

Leaping to the left placed Ophelia on ARIADNE’s right side, head to tail at least for that split second, so when ARIADNE leapt forward, the hybrid was already out of range. What surprised her then was the fact that ARIADNE galloped away. Why was she running from battle? Tinek, irritated that the dance of combat was interrupted by fleeing, followed after the equine mare, silver wings opened wide. He parted his jaws and dove toward the spotted female, sending out a blast of half shock and half frost aimed along her spine. The silver dragon quickly regrouped, not keen on leaving Ophelia out of his crimson gaze for too long.

A light bruise from ARIADNE’s hoof formed beneath her pale skin and the hair was chipped from that location, but the area did not bleed – only ached slightly. Movement of her skin across bone was a brief sting, but she carried onward, cantered toward their other opponent, LOCKET. Ophelia tilted her tulip ears against her skull tightly, tossing her head in challenge as she closed the distance between herself and the hairy stallion. She approached from LOCKET's right and leaped forward, jaws open to try and catch his crest on top of his shorter frame. However, Ophelia had no opportunity for mistakes, so she reached out with the light that resided in her from the lost stone, trying to wrapping around LOCKET's mind. With her magic, she attempted to remove any memory from the split second of her leap onward, hoping that without those memories, he could not defend himself from her attack.

[[[(2/3) - (2 companion uses - 1 magic use) - (897 words)
- Ophelia prepares when Ariadne comes at her from across the field and leaps to the side to avoid her hooves while she rears.
- Ophelia reaches out to her right to try and bite Ariadne's shoulder if still rearing or crest if she landed on all fours
- One of Ariadne's hooves scrapes across her right shoulder blade, removing hair and bruising the area slightly.
- Ophelia is already out of the way when Ariadne leaps forward.
- As Ariadne runs away, Tinek follows and tries to blast her back with frost/shock.
- Ophelia lunges at Locket from his right and tries to bite the top of his crest (uses magic here to remove any memories of her leaping/being nearby)]]]
