She was home again. Or whatever to call it. The Throat was so boringly still and she didn't actually feel the need to be there anymore. Why would she stay? She had tricked the leaders to give her the rank "Informant", which was foolish of them.
They gave a mare a rank that she didn't give shit about. How clever. And she didn't even spend most of her time in the Throat. She was always wandering outside, in the forest or on the meadow. Maybe the herd should re-think their choices about the leader. What was her name again... Kri? What was so special about her anyways?
Melissa sighed and glanced at her fat belly. Honestly, she looked like a big ball with a head, a pair of wings and four legs. And her back hurt like fuck. How big was this foal anyways? Had Loki really given her such a massive gift?

It was to see. She had stopped by the waterhole, the green bushes giving her a comfortable shelter and promised protection.
The Pegasus had felt it coming for a few hours now, that feeling of something pushing it's way out of her body. She knew that the foal was coming, and she had grinned almost all day even though it hurt. But this day was too great for one to cry on. She was having her foal.
Melissa laid down in the green bushes and grass' comfy madrass and sighed with relief. It felt like a blessing just to lie down. Aahh.. She was going to have a little soul to raise, a little rascal that could charm stallions and trick them just like get ol' momma.
Maybe the rascal would get strong enough to take Kri's place as a leader? Hm. That wouldn't be so wrong... A little daughter to be proud of.

The mare felt the pain that had lurked around all day get stronger, and the grin on her dark lips got wider. It was time.
It was finally time.
The sun was high on the sky, making the mare sweat more than she would normally do - and with the little strength she had, she pushed. She pushed for hours, even though it felt like days.

Then it was over. She turned her head to her hind, tired as hell, and Melissa frowned. It was a colt. He was a bay pegasus with darker points and a few gold features. The mare sighed disappointed and tried to stand up, but there was something holding her down.
There was still something that tried to come out.
What the fuck?
Melissa had not seen this coming.
She relaxed and lied down again, feeling the same as when the colt had come out. Was there another foal?! Had the bastard given her twins?! She pushed even more, though now for only a few minutes. The second foal "plopped" out - fuck her soul and body - and she was almost in tears from the pain. Almost.
The colts looked exactly alike, and Melissa snorted. How come her first birth had given her twins? And colts, for that matter? Why not a daughter like she had wished for?

Melissa stood up and frowned as she cleaned the foals' faces. Only one of them opened their eyes, making his mother gasp. He didn't have pupils.
The first foal had beautiful blue eyes that shimmered with a mischievous shine, and the second one just lied still on the grassy sphere she had found. Why was it still? Why didn't her colt move?
Their faces were white, while the rest of their bodies were colored in a brown color with darker reddish points. Three golden stripes on the ends of their necks as well as each four golden hooves.

They took a little after their father - Loki - but most of their features came from her. Melissa suddenly smiled at the colt with open eyes, but frowned on the inside at the still colt. They were maybe not fillies, but she could still teach them whatever she would've taught her daughter.
But why was the foal so still?

She nudged the forehead of the stillborn and lowered her muzzle so that it was in front of the colt's. She didn't feel any air against her muzzle and the foal didn't breathe like his brother did.
Fuck. He wasn't even alive.
Melissa sighed and looked at the blue-eyed colt, the one who was blinking at her and was getting to know his body.

"Rosario. That shall be your name, blue-eyed colt, and you shall listen to me very carefully. You have no father, there's only me." Like Loki would've cared about him anyways.
Melissa nudged both of them upon their empty foreheads - to her pleasure - and then helped Rosario up so that he could feed.

Rosario.
The rascal had arrived to the world.

"Talking."
