Everything stopped.

Phae's mind was suddenly cleared of everything, save for the choice that this odd companion had given her. Would you like to hear about the Plague? Or about Tolio?"

Simultaneously, her mind screamed both PLAGUE and TOLIO at the same time. A storm began to rise and swell within her breast, or was that her magic...?, as her mind fought to make a decision. Tolio; her cinnamon love, and sire of her twins. What could this dappled darling possibly know of him? Was it with Sinny, that she shared Tolio's affections with? Even if he wasn't - the things he could tell her! He would know Tolio as he was in the Basin - as a solider and a stallion!

And yet...

There was the Grey. Before she had found love with Tolio, they had taken her in. Ophelia had seen the potential that she could not see in herself, and Ktulu, as frightening and cold as she was, had given her a place. Now, they had a home, and Phaedra had a rank and magic. Had she not gone to the Goddess - to that evil beautiful bitch - and endured being hideous, precisely so that she could use her magic to benefit the Grey, and excel as a spy?

The Plague? Or Tolio? The Grey, or her heart?

As time slipped back, no longer affording the golden girl a chance to collect her thoughts, it instead seemed to be reinforcing that fact that she would have to choose. Just how long would her magic grip Sinny's beautiful mind for?

Exhaling softly, trying to keep hidden the inner turmoil that she felt, Phae took a step forward, towards the dark steed. "Oh Sinny-bear" She whispered gayly, as her cheeks coloured themselves a pretty dusty rose. "Why the Plague sounds just marvelous doesn't it?" She extended her velvety muzzle, meaning to gently brush it against the curve of his cheek. She forced her mind to ignore the feeling that her heart had been betrayed, and instead allowed her mind to drown in the pinkness that was her magic. Glamour glistened behind her eyes, igniting their sparkle. As she focused upon that feeling, she felt the guilt and remorse of not asking about Tolio gradually begin to slip away, deep down, to the bottom of her mind. She would surely have to deal with it later, but until that time, her attention would be upon Sin, and whatever information he might have for her.

Retracting her nose, she made an impatient little sigh, as she batted her long eyelashes towards her dark play-thing. He was quite handsome, in an awkward way; she would understand if Tolio took a liking to this one. She certainly did. Drawing her muzzle in, to accentuate the curves of her neck and chest, she let her flirtatious gaze wash over her Sinny-bear, hoping that he would have something of use to tell her, so that her choice to disregard information about the father of her twins, would not be in vain.
