There were times when being teased for your size was hurtful. And then there were times, usually when the teasing words were spoken by friends like now, that it could be quite amusing. This time was one of the latter. At Mauja’s initial comment, Aury shrugged his shoulders and smiled slyly. "I figured, once you’ve bathed with someone, you've crossed the line of intimacy beyond which it is acceptable to call them by their given name," Aurelius said, chuckling quietly. Their little jest was interrupted by the third party. The filly greeted him in an exuberant fashion, as is custom for the young, and Aurelius clearly saw the resemblance between father and daughter. The dwarf grinned back at Mauja, reassuring expression in his eyes. There was no way that he was trying anything, little girls just loved compliments; matter of fact, all girls loved compliments. The imp saw himself more like an uncle, if anything, so his smooth talking was completely innocent.

He guffawed heartily at the comment of his size; it was no surprise that Snö did not know what he was. As far as he had discovered, there weren’t many of his kind in Helovia. Besides, she was so young, and as it is with children, her ignorance was pretty endearing. Not to mention that it made for a good laugh among the adults. Aurelius winked back at Mauja, immediately picking up on the unspoken jest. Certainly not suitable for young ears, but amusing nonetheless. "Don’t worry, love. Besides, as you’ll learn when you grow older, size doesn’t matter," he hummed, falling silent as Mauja took to introducing him. A grin formed across his maw. "Valiant protector huh? That’s not a title I’ve been associated with before. Flattering," he said, easily picking up at what Mauja whispered to Snö. The dwarven stag snorted and reared, tossing his head, just as he had seen the goats in his homeland do, mischief written on his face.

"So, how come that I have not met such a lovely young lady earlier? I believe I haven’t seen you around The Edge?" He inquired, looking from Snö to Mauja, his curiosity sparked.
