Not so much as a flinch came from the dark stallion, only the movement of his wicked face to a dull, irritated expretion. Oh my god, what was it going to take to get this son of a bitch out of her face? A cold lump crawled up her dry throat, leaving a disturbing chill to breathe over her skin. His eyes left a cold, blank slated stare that frightened her far too much.
The golden mare felt her chest tighten at the sinister words that slithered from his tightly clenched jaws. The fire in his angry eyes bored into her. Cierra's heart raced watching his head bow like a huge snake. The whites of her eyes showed in the corners and she stepped back just as the solid bone that pierced his skull slid past her slender frame. The suddenness of the attack both surprised her and pissed her off.
Black wings unfurled, leaving a large shadow casting over the pair. The small, young mare launched forward, throwing her back feet out as she did so. Who knew, maybe she'd hit him? If not, she didn't mind. Her wings pulsed up and down as she jumped into the sky, the air circulating around under her extensions. Black feathers beat the air violently, lifting her golden body into the dark air, just out of reach of the brute.
The sky was cold and some what damp; dark clouds beginning to roll over head. The stars that were twinkling randomly through out the sky disappeared as well. The air now hung at a stale, dull black. Wind circled around her, ruffling her dark mane. Hazel eyes watched the wicked brute below, her focus maintaining itself on him intensely.
