Time had passed… Mystique was no longer the petite creamed filly with the delicate figure. She had grown immensely and now she looked more grown up than she ever had before. Her body was now more slender, her frosted coat glimmering brighter than ever, and her eyes twinkled like the ocean’s scattered sky. The only things that were the same were, physically, her pinkish muzzle and mentally she still thought of herself as a younger filly. Although she was enjoying her new self because she was able to run faster, she still liked being quiet and out of horse’s business. She was never the type to really just barge into something, or try to know something that was not her business, but she would ask to help someone if they needed it. The thought of growing up did not appeal to her ideally, but she knew that it was just a part of life and that she would have to deal with it sooner or later.
Her luminous mane and tail gently were taken by the wind’s cooled breeze. The moon lit ocean caught her gaze. Looking out into the ocean as she walked, her hooves sank into the muddy granules. She wished Cera was here. There was nothing really for her to do other than look at the ocean alone. Walking towards the ocean, she draped her pearled hooves into the foamy like crystals. The ocean roared, but its steady rhythm relaxed Mystique. With a sigh, she let the waves control her legs. When the water rolled back, it sank beneath her hooves pulling them closer into the muddy sand. Letting out another sigh, Mystique knew this was going to be a long night.
