Pearl locks of tightly compressed curls gently rested down the tips her neck line. Paper thin, like satin, they glided in the winds direction. Her bright orbs twinkled with excitement as the water taunted her to come. Its blue tone of relaxing comfort drew her closer. Her chilled bones stiffened as the water rushed to the touch of her skin, but soon they became numb and there was no difference to the air and water temperature. Her stomach was now completely submerged, the rhythmic waves pressed against it slightly and then being pulled away. There was a slight hesitation before going further. The waves dazed her into thinking about everything that had occurred in her lifetime. Yes she was not the most arrogant creature, in fact, she was no such thing. If she were to be the lion or the mouse she would be the mouse. Her quiet figure and shy like voice reminded her of the mouse. Lifting her head, she looked towards the horizon and wondered if she was meant to be anything in particular. What would she be good at? She wasn’t much of a talker, she wasn’t that social, and she definitely was no kind of warrior. She was a filly of kindness and she did quite like helping others, but the one thing she knew she was best at was running. Her legs took over and then it was up to them. She felt as though she was a bird flying high into the atmosphere, the wind in her face, the exhilarating adrenaline, and the best part just feeling free. She could almost outrun any adult; so far she hadn’t been caught by any. That was how she escaped predators and unfriendly opponents. It was only the thought of running and it made he want to get out of the water, and test herself but she quickly realized she was in too far to just get out.

Neck strained to the side with flowing curls tracing not shortly after. A clear honey tone sounded rang somewhat familiar, but not totally unrecognizable. Then she realized that it wasn’t just a clear tone, it was calling her name. Her eyes suddenly were almost a blue color from looking at the ocean; she urged to see who it was. It the one person in the world that she would have wanted most, Cera! Or was that Cera? Oh, Cera how she longed to see him! It had been forever. Where had he been? Was he hurt? Injured? Angry? Millions of questions raced through her head, but the big question was why did he look so different? The pearled filly was suddenly intrigued by him and felt something that she had never felt before. His lines of caramel shades intertwined with frosted white. His honey like tone and masculine features he looked so…handsome. “Cera?” Mystique suddenly blurt out. She was kind of in shock, but also she wanted to see him. A whole hearted smile crept up her pink muzzle as it twitched with excitement. “Cera!” She yelled in a velvet tone almost out of breath. Before she knew it she could hardly stop herself closing the gap between them. It was closing faster now and before she knew it she was in front of him. Breathing calmly her eyes examined the honey colored brute closely. While tracing his new look another smile crept up her lips as a brief and whispered chuckle arose from her chest. Reaching her muzzle to meet his, she suddenly saw something was off about him. She wanted nothing more to do, but help for he was her best friend. “Cera I almost didn’t recognize you… where have you been I’ve missed you so.” She almost whispered because she was so happy to see him. All she wanted to do was wrap herself into the warmth of his comforting side under the protection of his wings. She was so caught up in all of her thoughts that she didn’t even notice Cera’s Red Panda companion that was near him.
