Beneath the waters stirred a massive black and white patterned serpent with bright eyes and an even brighter heart. She struck through the water like a whip, occasionally opening her jaws to reveal long, sharp fangs with a bite power that could kill. She had travelled far and for so long to leave her home and the desolate waste that it had become as it was torn to shadow. Now she frolicked in the endless blue, her fish tail propelling her forth and her light gaze guiding her through the waters.
From a distance, the serpent called Enyo watched the black mare move with utter grace, and with a serpentine smile and a flick of her snakelike tongue, she made her way closer. One more submergence and a massive inhale of water and then she was off, swimming against the current and heading towards the shore. Her massive head popped up over the crash of the waves, and she slowly unfurled herself from the waters depths to look down on the mare.
"How lovely you are," Enyo burbled cheerily, breathing the air with slight distaste and letting the water in her lung-like organs bubble uncomfortably. Still, air above brought her discomfort, and always made her itch... she flicked her tongue up to her nostrils and picked out a gob of snot as if it were no strange thing to do, and then returned her gaze to the mare. "Really, a charming performance!" She tittered, her grin nonthreatening somehow, despite the massive array of sharp white teeth it revealed.
